ARWEO has been working in Agriculture for the last 17 years, agriculture stands as the core sector that provides livelihood to the massive population. Also, this sector confronts the largest brunt of unemployment, underemployment, and poverty. ARWEO with the support of donors implemented several projects in the agriculture sector for the people of concern. ARWEO provided support to MAIL in policies and program developments. Recently, ARWEO worked on a project from UNOPS for the Feasibility Study for Water Emergency Relief Project (WERP) in all districts of Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, Badakhshan, Kunduz, Takhar, and Baghlan. This project aimed to address water-related emergencies in these regions, which it also effects the agriculture of these districts highlighting ARWEO’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and community development.
