Gender Awareness

ARWEO aims to raise and increase awareness about the cross-cutting issue of Gender and help mainstream gender in civil society organizations and other governmental and non-governmental institutions. To achieve this goal ARWEO focuses on:

1. Undertaking gender campaigns and awareness-raising sessions;
2. Developing gender guidelines and materials;
3. Building the capacity of the staff and unit;
4. Developing networks and alliances.
5. Developing training curriculum;
6. Establishing the gender unit.
