Aim and Objectives

Providing aid and emergency assistance—such as food, clothing, shelter, and medicine—to vulnerable Afghan families, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and refugees. Enhancing rehabilitation and economic opportunities for returnees and IDPs, and fostering the reintegration and inclusion of vulnerable individuals within their communities to prevent social isolation. Supporting the employment of vulnerable individuals by providing vocational training, literacy and numeracy courses, and other resources. Raising public awareness through civic education and community outreach sessions; implementing women’s internship programs; and building the capacity of civil society organizations, Community Development Council (CDC) members, government employees, and local councils through training in proposal writing, project cycle management, needs assessment, project management, and other relevant areas. Helping to mitigate local conflicts by providing training on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and gender issues to local councils, youth, women, CDC members, government staff, and other social groups. Assisting the Afghan government in the smooth implementation of its policies by raising awareness regarding the government’s roles and responsibilities toward its citizens. Supporting the country’s youth by enhancing their skills through access to information, the internet, and capacity-building training in various relevant fields. Contributing to Afghanistan’s reconstruction and rehabilitation by assisting the government in policy implementation and the dissemination of messages of peace. Raising public awareness about education for all—men and women alike—and its importance for the development and prosperity of nations.
