ARWEO’s infrastructure program aims to provide infrastructure services to people with disabilities, vulnerable groups, refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, orphans, women, men, and youth within its areas of intervention. To this end, ARWEO undertakes the following activities: constructing accessible pathways (ramps), schools, clinics, bridges, roads, and transitional or permanent shelters; raising awareness regarding schooling (particularly for girls) and accessibility; constructing mosques and other religious facilities (such as religious schools); and conducting pre- and post-intervention KAB (Knowledge, Attitudes, and Behavior) surveys among beneficiaries and community members.
